Fantasy Marina Project

Port Fantasy Terminal - Ground Floor
Port Fantasy Terminal - First Floor

Our dynamic team of professionals, with a touch of creative talents, incorporated an excellent brand of architectural characteristics and engineering concepts and produced a spectacular structure reflecting a contemporary marina terminal in Fantasy Island.

The building, commercial in nature, is a two storeys structure made of steel columns and beams and is five meters high with an attached canopy shaped sunshade above the roof.

The ground floor consist of mainly tenancy spaces, open waiting areas and has an access lift and escalator to the 1st floor.

The first floor is made up of voids and open walkways leading to hotel type accommodation and conference and office spaces.

There are balconies placed all around the building overlooking the entire Marina and the Nadi Bay. The total building area is 8275m. The initial tender for the construction of the Terminal building was called by the Consultant Architects, Sharma Design Group on 17/08/18 which closed on 10/09/18.

We are pleased to extend the tender closing date to 31/10/18. Interested parties are to contact Mr. Vijay Sharma Design Group for soft copies of plans for tender purposes.

The Marina Project

From the very beginning of the Fantasy project it was envisaged that there would be a significant commercial port, boat yard and fisherman’s port and facilities within the complex.

The reclamation and ground shaping work is almost complete and the first infrastructure to be built will be a commercial Port and Marina complex. The passenger terminal will be located on an acre and a half of water¬front adjoining the harbour. The terminal building will have a ground floor of three thousand square meters and the first floor will be half that size. As well as the terminal space the ground floor will house several rental offices, shops and restaurants and the top floor will have an international standard nightclub and bar/restaurant.

The marina will be built to international standard with all services such as water for boats, power, sewer, roads, and fuel depot included. The harbour will have pontoon moorings and swing moorings and is five acres in size, and the total area of water around the harbour, including canals, is over ten acres. The entire area is designed as a commercial port catering to tourist transportation by boat and other sporting activities related to tourism.

Behind the large commercial marina is a fisherman’s port for the use of local fishermen who are engaged in fishing as a livelihood and will fill a much-needed function, as there is currently no place for these people to conduct their business. The area will include a cold storage facility, ice making equipment, fueling services, an easily accessible boat storage yard and a workshop for repairs as well as adequate and safe jetty space. For bigger boats and yachts there will be a storage and repair yard, which will house services such as mechanical repairs and maintenance facilities.
