PROJECTS

There are in fact two projects, Fantasy Island and Juxta Beach, but they have been developed with total synergy, incorporating one fully integrated community and resort and allowing optimum utilisation of the infrastructure available on Fantasy Island.

Leases

The project is 150 acres in total and is the subject of two separate crown tourism development leases with a tenancy of ninety-nine years. Subdivision leases, again with a tenancy of ninety-nine years, have been issued for the completed section of Fantasy Island and are registered in the individual investor names.

The Master Plan

From the very beginning the developers have had a master plan for the twin complexes and this has been implemented in stages.

Stage One

Stage One is now complete and is known as Fantasy Island. It was completed in 1998 and offered to both the local and international market prime real estate, with residential land, canals, private marina potential, villas, and world-class amenities. Apart from the expected shopping, health and spa facilities, tourism experiences at Fantasy include a tropical forest safari, marine park, water sports, convention center, cultural entertainment, outdoor sports, marina, and snorkeling in a man-made coral reef that was specially created to offer a unique experience in the underwater world. You will find a vast variety of tropical reef fish in this amazing clear water environment.

The properties in Stage One sold quickly both to investors and to owner-occupiers and today it is a lively and closely-knit community. Because of the closeness of facilities such as schools, shopping complexes, restaurants, service providers and medical services it is attractive for families. Several properties in the Fantasy Island development have been resold at an excellent profit to the owners and there continues to be a good market waiting for further property to become available.
